Spread betting is a fascinating form of betting, and in my opinion involved a great deal of skill. This, I think, is a good thing – as surely skill can be learned and honed, as opposed to normal betting which lets face it, revolves around a good deal of luck!
The following is a basic guide to spread betting. When I first got involved with spread betting, it constantly baffled and annoyed me that there wasn’t any really basic guides to help me understand the fundamentals of (a) what spread betting meant? and (b) what were the basic disciplines involved in being a successful spread bettor?
So before we go any further, let me just pre qualify what you are about to read – it gives you exactly what I couldn’t find – the fundamentals of what spread betting is and how to spread bet.
After reading this, you are nowhere near being ready to start trading – but it’ll give you a foot in the door, and you’ll have a good idea of what the next steps are for your research!
